Dan Walsh

BBC Folk Awards ‘Best Musician’ nominee Dan Walsh combines ‘virtuoso playing and winning songwriting’ (MORNING STAR). Describing what Dan does is no easy task but at the heart of it is British, Irish and American folk music delivered with a healthy dose of funky grooves – all performed with his unique and dazzling take on clawhammer style banjo helping to challenge all preconceptions about the instrument.

One of the most incredible musicians I’ve heard in years – Bruce MacGregor, BBC Radio Scotland

If one name is synonymous with the revival of interest in the banjo, it’s Dan Walsh – Living Tradition

Add to all that poignant songs, astonishing musical departures and lively humour and the result is a truly memorable live show which has wowed audiences across the world from intimate seated rooms to huge dancing crowds in festival fields.

Logan McKillop & Caleb Tomlinson – Canadian Songwriters

Logan McKillop is a folk/roots singer-songwriter and storyteller from Onanole, MB who currently lives in Whitehorse, Yukon. Equally skilled as a wordsmith and a guitarist, every song is an invitation into the best of both worlds. He is unafraid to delve into what is real, exploring the highs and lows of the human condition with absolute honesty.

Logan released his 20 song debut album titled Prairie Sky in March 2013 (produced by Lewis Melville in Guelph, Ontario). Logan’s sophomore album Anchorless was released on March 29th, 2019. Anchorless was recorded with co-producer Scott Nolan (The Song Shop, Winnipeg, MB), engineers Jamie Sitar (Outta Town Sound) and Madeleine Roger (Roseberry Records) and was meticulously mixed & mastered by David Travers-Smith (found.sound.toronto).

Both Prairie Sky and Anchorless have received praise and radio play from Canadian and international radio stations as well as positive reviews and premieres from notable folk music magazines and online publications.

Logan has toured extensively in support of Prairie Sky and Anchorless. In 2019 alone, Logan played 127 shows across Canada. With tens of thousands of touring kilometers under his belt, McKillop has played a show in every Canadian province and territory and has also toured throughout Europe and the UK.

In addition to his career as a solo artist, Logan has been featured as a guitarist on many recording projects and tours (with Micah Erenberg, Carly Dow, Madeleine Roger, Elijah Bekk, Richard Inman, Kevin Roy, Sebastian Owl, Brady Enslen, Alana Levandoski).

Caleb Tomlinson performs beautifully crafted and lyrically driven indie folk music. Haunting harmonies and textured strings weave rich stories through the seasons and landscapes of northern and western Canada. While his songs are distinctly rooted in place, he connects with a broad audience through stories and banter to create an unforgettable live performance.
